Jughead A Caribbean Trailblazer in Atlanta

Posted by: Contributor    Tags:  exclusive interviews, jughead restaurant, trailblazers    Posted date:  March 6, 2010  |  No comment

Talawah Journals had the pleasure to interview Owen aka “Jughead”, an aspiring Jamaican entrepreneur in Atlanta Georgia. Jughead tells his story of how he started as a hustler on the streets of Kingston to becoming a chef at Couples Hotel in Jamaica to finally reaching America to start his own business with only $50.

Amazingly, that business is now one of two successful restaurants in Georgia so with plans to start a third in his home of Jamaica and along with other charities we chose him as a Talawah Trailblazer. Do you know any Caribbean people or people of culture with a similar story? Write us.
