A trip to Dominca Republic is a vacation for those people who enjoy the hot sun, beaches and other attributes of the paradise. It is located in West Indies. From three sides it is washed by two oceans and a strait. In Dominican Republic the most ancient city of America, Santa Domingo, is located. Also there is the highest in America mountain, pick Duarte. If you wish to learn, the lake in Dominican Republic is the biggest one where the crocodiles live. Perhaps, that is why the local inhabitants used to name their country “the crocodile jaw that is about to close on the tail of Cuba”. The name seems to be very romantic and exotic, doesn’t it? The Indian roots are evident in many local names. The fans of the beaches are to be ready to enjoy one of the larges beaches. It is Punta-Kana that is stretching for more than thirty kilometers. European touch could be found in the first European city – San-Domingo. If you are interested in the history, this city was landed by Columbus’s brother Bartholomew. From the very first moment you will be enveloped by the fairy-tale atmosphere and mysterious history of the country. At least heat and exotic character make you feel relaxed and dizzy. The very first buildings of 15th century will astonish you. The local people still believe in the ghosts and evil gods. That is why every house is painted in different color. The city looks like rainbow.
The main advantage of this vacation is that you turn to be in the harmonious environment where people do smile, dance, talk and preserve their country and ecology.
